Compensation: $17.50 - $19.25 per hour (DOE)
We are seeking a Part-Time Data Entry Clerk to assist with various administrative and customer service tasks during tax season. This position requires a candidate with previous experience in data entry and familiarity with tax preparation software. The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle a variety of tasks efficiently, both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:

Data Entry: Accurately input tax-related data into our systems (TaxSlayerPro, Cognito) ensuring all records are correct and up to date.

Customer Support: Answer incoming calls, return emails, and assist clients with basic inquiries related to tax preparation and services.

Social Media Interaction: Respond to client queries on social media platforms in a timely and professional manner.

Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate logs of calls, emails, and other communications, ensuring proper documentation of client interactions.

Administrative Support: Assist with general office duties, as needed, to support the tax preparation process.
Requirements:

Experience with TaxSlayerPro, Cognito, and RingCentral is a PREFERRED.
- Previous experience in a tax preparation or data entry role is strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, seasonal environment.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry tasks.
- Comfortable using software systems for both customer service and administrative tasks.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Availability to work Monday to Friday from 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM EST for the duration of tax season.
Preferred Skills:
- Customer Service
- Bi-lingual (a plus but not necessary)
- Familiarity with social media platforms and customer interaction.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new tools and technology.
